Started yesterday and continued today with pain on the outside on my right hip. Get an intermittent throbbing or shot of pain. Been hitting it heavy with ibuprofen but decided today was one to be off. Went to Kearney for UNK meet and easy jogging seemed ok but kind of concerned. 3rd day off in about 14 weeks...pretty good run.

Felt MUCH better about this run than on Sunday! A little bit of sore muscles in my right glute. Not totally sure why, but worked on form so I didn't irritate it.

Omaha [20160926]: Regency Bucker

48F and no wind? Hells bells, that's perfection.

BetzE's log would usually say, "Regency loop with Dave, Theresa and Justin"; well, today the role of Justin was (badly) played by me.

Dave is 48 on Wednesday, and Homecoming is a MUCH bigger deal, these days, than when I was in school (get off my lawn, uphill both ways).

Cadence: 185/max, 161/avg

theDude HOCO has always been a big deal to the cool kids.

carljsamuelson ^"get off my lawn" is, generically speaking, what cantankerous old folkz yell @ young people ("uphill, both ways" is another old folks colloquialism, "in my day! we walked to school. uphill! BOTH WAYS! in the freezing cold. with newspapers for shoes.")

A bit chilly. Wore gloves and a t-shirt instead of the singlet. Legs were feeling yesterday's 20 miler. Really choppy. Didn't help that I was searching for a bathroom the last 1.5 miles (found a new one).

I went a little early to get a couple before the guys showed up. Such a beautiful morning! The stars! And I wore my hat.....:) How could I not be happy to bring out my favorite accessory? Bryan, Matt, Mark, and Greg showed up and we got in some more. Such a nice start to the week. Followed it up with Matt and some Caribou Coffee at HyVee.

Big day ahead! Picking up Joni and heading to Kearney in a few hours to watch our girls. Huge Varsity CC meet. Molly is so excited. I just cannot wait.

Happy Monday, all. :)
