At Lutjelusche course in Columbus. Did my annual course measurement run (3.0), added a couple more on the gravel, and added a mile during 4 races (probably more than that). Wiped out from yesterday.

Up at 4:15 to meet up with Pete K. at 5 AM. Planned to run with him for 10ish miles but the miles just kind of clicked away. I really only stopped because I felt bad that one of his support crew would need to give me a ride back to my car. There were also a few others that ran at different times. I was at least able to help some by carrying his satellite tracking device for about 10 miles.

I encourage anyone who can to email his crew and tag along for some miles. It was well worth the experience.

Met the guys at Meadowlark. Chilly today! A bit underdressed except for my head. And my shorts were too big. :/ Other than that a really enjoyable run. Headed down 16th street and checked out the floats. The frat boys all keeping close watch on their creations. Fun times. Lots of college stories today. But we were all silent as we ran around the sacred ground of Memorial Stadium....all lit up in the dark. Gives me chills every time we run here. Always a Husker.

SUPER BIG DAY! Molly has LPS Championships at Pioneers Park. She had some great runs this week, and I have a good feeling about today....:) Then! Jet home to get ready for Homecoming. She asked a friend from swim...he goes to Southwest! I was proud of her! Progressive! I asked her if she wants to get her hair done.....she looked at me like I was from another planet. Tomboy, right there. Love it.

TGIF.

I was thinking about M2M this year and took a second to realize how lucky I am to know and run with some of Nebraska's running legends/royalty. This is no doubt due to the power of NDORFNZ. So let's play a game of 5 degree's of NDORFNZ. List a couple Nebraska based runners you put in the legends/royalty category that you met via NDORFNZ is some shape or form. Past, present, future, whatevs. I'll start.

Theresa Gosnell
Christy Nielsen
Jack Lemke
Scott Haug
Seth Hirsch
Kaci Lickteig

Obviously there is more, but I have to take my dog to the vet, and this is what was off the top.
