Lead race for first three laps (18.6 miles) then had some stomach issues that caused me to stop after 4th lap. Ended up being able to run last lap with Kevin and Miguel after sitting for a bit.

A 7 mile tempo run was on the schedule so I went to Springfield MoPac to make it more palatable. 1-1/2 wu then 6:44/6:37/6:36/6:32/6:29/6:26/6:21 (progression! just worked out that way helped by a tailwind coming back). Avg. 6:32. 1-1/2 cd. Solid workout after painting the house all day on top of a really solid week. Had my doubts about this one but pulled it off. Can't wait to see what I can do for 10 miles next week.

Went out not knowing if I'd go 15 or 20. It was going to be 15 for the first 7 miles. After a bathroom stop my mind started wandering to longer. Once I grabbed a snickers at mile 14 I felt much better. Didn't realize I was running as fast as I was. Started getting warm toward the end. Post run I got to trim some bushes but at least my wife picked up some chocolate milk.
