The trail did a great job breaking the wind. The sustained winds were at about 25 mph but it felt much lighter than that.

This was a great race! So glad it was foggy. The course was flat expect for the huge mountain like hill they put in mile 9! I thought it was pretty neat seeing airplanes fly so close to us in the fog. I would love to run this course again!

The weather was near perfect for this race. The Sun did not come out till about 10AM with the help of daylight savings time. Felt good and ran a very good race. There was a killer hill for most of mile 9 but the reward was a very fast down hill finish from mile 10. Very well organized race with some very fast runner's, great course and weather.

DoublE GoosE Weekend, but it's all good.

Headed to Des Moines early to photog Leprechaun Chase Iowa Style yesterday. They had just enough snow to make it bad and very slippery. Ben, Jason and Zach still pulled off great race having to shorten it to 5k.

Drove back then helped move Mom into her new apartment, old ones were sold and are pr$cey.

My Bro, Sis-In-Law and Nephew are all in helping, so great to see them too!

1st Lincoln Marathon workout in the books - much faster than planned, but felt strong throughout. Picked up Kelly and headed to GPa's Woods. Nice having Kelly out there to get me through this workout. Kelly is getting into great shape. Seeing the improvements every week. Denny's breakfast afterwards.

By headlamp for over half. Ran slower than I would have liked but it was good to be deliberate and steady on tired legs from yesterday.

Ivan drove over and kept me company for 7 or so. Always good to get on those trails.
