Couldn't really face the outdoors today so drove to the MoPac and it wasn't that bad. A little breezy in the open spaces coming back. Lower back gets tired at the end of a run lately.

Planned to run in Field of Dreams, but field was soggy so ran 1.5 miles there then headed across street and ran rest in Noanet Woodlands. Kept it slow and careful so I wouldn't fall. Walked another mile in Noanet. Strength circuit at Y.

We've had at least two inches of nice rain since Thursday night. Supposed to turn white for a little bit this weekend. Track meet was postponed yesterday to Monday. Wasn't disappointed. Today is little miss Margot's second birthday, heading east tomorrow to celebrate hopefully.

Spotted on my run: sleeping security man, scrounging dogs x 2, sprinter man. I would have tried to give sprinter man a high five, but refrained so as not to break his form. I got a wave and a smile out of him on our second pass though. Loved how the grounds keepers' smiles kept getting bigger the more times I passed them, high fives all around from them by the time I made my last loop. Even as I'm running in this paradise, I'm still jealous of you all that get to run Lincoln next weekend. It's seriously like Boston on a smaller scale.
