First 6 miles at easy pace, last 8 miles at GMP. These fast finish runs are usually awkward for me to switch gears, but I worked into it.

Song of the day: "Free Bird' by Lynryd Skynyrd. For a vastly overplayed FM staple, once you get some time and distance away from it you realize what a classic it is. From the soaring slide guitar work to the galloping ending vamp, and Ronnie Van Zant's impassioned vocal delivery, it hits home and to the heart.
