What a great race! Ran around Monona Lake, and it was beautiful! Couldn't of asked for better weather!

Got to the gym to swim at 5:25am. All locked up. I guess the opening crew all overslept? Anyway, didn't have time to wait around, so drove back home, put on running clothes and went running. Two soccer games to watch and the Nebraska game to attend. Have a good one!

Had a great race this morning. Perfect weather and one of the top 5 courses I have ever ran. Some of the views around the Lake and the city skyline were Beautiful. The course had some hills and just one big hill but I prefer a hilly race over flat. Won my age group. This is our 7th Half this year with at least 3 more scheduled. Stopped at the American Pickers Shop yesterday on the way here. Love that show. Headed Downtown now.

XC workout at Houghton's Pond. Warm up 2.8 miles. 3 x 3.3+ mile loop (long hill in mile 2) with 3 min jog rest. Cool down 2.9 miles.

Slow but very consistent. Hill was nasty (clearly the point of including it). Wore gloves for set 1 then took them off. No falls.
