Not one of my best efforts but given my lack of training and physical issues, I guess that was about as good as it gets. Might have gone out a little quick but at least I didn't die a huge death. I don't think I passed anyone the rest of the way as it was a bit of a struggle. A couple of easy miles on the roads to warmup before the race and then a few pickups and jogging prior to start. No cool down. Very cold and I just wanted to get some warm clothes on and get out of the wind.

My husband slipped in the driveway and my son slipped on the street last night walking home from the bowling alley so played it safe on the mill next to a friend this morning. Fabulous run, everything felt so good! Dead on with Will's prescribed weekly mileage and at conversational pace today, believe me, I talked the whole time ;)
