Dark and early and by myself....and well, wild animals. Mile 3 something crossed toward me about 30 feet ahead. I stopped and literally bolted back down the hill. It was huge and looked like a stegosaurus, or something. And then Mile 8, across the street from me was the LOUDEST SCREECHING I have ever heard. I am not kidding you. And it kept going. Something was happening. And it wasn't good. I was terrified. There were tears on my face. I'm still shaking at work. Some owl or something huge. More than anytime ever, I don't want to run anymore. :((

Now I'm at work and I'm missing a huge high school swim meet.

Oh and Scotty told me over beers last night to please, please slow down. I tried today. But I was running for my life.

Happy Bday to my good pal, and best RD in the region. I think even in the country. :)

Really nice out this morning. Went to the Kearney Community Theatre production oh �It�s a Wonderful Life� last night. Sat with a couple we didn�t know or at least thought we didn�t know.
