Morning 3+ miles, pretty standard recovery run.

Evening 4.5+ miles, many many laps around a small Hampton Inn parking lot wondering how close the lightening was and when it would get too close. Raining too at times but that was fine except I couldn’t see the puddles very well in the dim parking lot lights. Nasty thunderstorm broke out just as I finished the run. Excellent timing.

Home. Still feel like I’m in motion though. That, with the sweat factor, made today’s run a bit tricky. Great vacation though. Black Hills are so beautiful. Had a great time with my family. :)

My Grace. She’s 11 today. No more littles in the house. She’s quite the kid. More spark than most people I know. And she’s just my miniature. I look in her eyes and see me staring back. It’s quite surreal. I just can’t believe my baby is 11. I want to hug her and not let go.
