Fairly consistent 6:05, 6:32, 6.05. Elevation gain was in the first half. Lots of turns was a bit of a drawback and might be some reason why mile 2 was slower. Walked away with a bag of Palisades peaches for my age group prize.

A few barking dogs, some coyotes celebrating their Friday night, one solitary cat, and lots of locusts. Met a couple of people headed to work that I didn’t know worked on the weekend. Then the county road department fired up a couple of road graders, had me questioning if it was Saturday or not since the county doesn’t work weekends. No matter what day it is, enjoy, we’re headed east to celebrate Ross’s bday a bit early.
