Very scenic race today in Pocatello, ID. Rudy ran with me, which made it very relaxing. Mostly down hill at the beginning, but there was a few big hills we had to climb towards the end. Overall, this was a really nice race. Tons of food at the end!

Its been about 2 years since I ran a full. Wanted to check off Idaho so we came here. The race was down a canyon for 6 miles with a steep decline then we had a good climb for mile 7 and back down the Canyon till mile 15 then just hills off and on with a big climb at 22. Ran with Booty the entire race. I felt good but my Quads were super sore. Met some really nice people from all over the country. Beautiful Challenging Course.

Always enjoy small town races even if they are long. Nice flat course. Didn’t care for the late start when everything says 7:30 mile, 8:00 5k and it goes off a half hour late. They did the awards for the mile right though, 0-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13. They had 20 kids in the mile, great turnout. Forty years ago this summer we were in Arcadia for a wedding reception, went in the bar to have a drink, found the College World Series on the tv. Guess where I spent most of my time... :)

Just a little bike ride before work. Trying to mix things up. I got my hip pretty grastoned up yesterday and don’t want to impede progress, so I biked. Just slowly and casually. It was really nice. Traffic at 445 am! That’s Game Day for you. I’ll be at work all day. Taking care of the Too Eager And Too Early Tailgaters who over estimate their alcohol limits and end up in our ER. Guaranteed.

Matt and Jackson head to the game tonight and I’ll head home to hang with the three ladies. :) Happy Saturday. GBR.
