HFC longest run of year. Ran some of it with CanMan and BillBuck. Good to be out there. Bit cold in shorts but not bad. 90 min unplanned upper body workout clearing ice and hard packed snow from my deck.

2105 consistent high mileage. Great first half, closing in on goal of 75% age graded times. Mediocre second half, slowly faded, last race worst of year.

2016 stay consistent but reduce mileage to around 3,000. Hopefully 75% is still realistic.

moxie That's better than my setup. I have my trainer positioned with boxes holding my 13" laptop about 4 feet from my eyes. Not prime viewing I'll tell you that.

moxie Also, if you're cycling a lot for rehab, I recommend the "Time-Crunched Cyclist" for different workouts. The structure if cycling workouts is different than running since distance doesn't mean anything.

Pleased with this 1st workout of the year. Middle of the run was 2 x 10 minute pushes with 5 minutes aerobic recovery in-between. And I was glad to be off the 'mill and on the mostly clear Keystone.

Resolution Run - The park trail was much improved over when I was there on Sunday. Could have run in road shoes 75% of the way. Trail shoes would have been perfect. There were times there wasn't enough cover on the trail for the cleats. Wind was pretty rough on the back side of the park. Will probably get in a gravel ride once the temps come up a bit this afternoon.
