Shuffled the schedule around and did tomorrow's long run this afternoon. I was hoping to do some hills, but the sidewalks I have seen around town were sketchy at best for being cleared--or even half-cleared. My only long run ever 100 percent on the flat Big Papio. But I am thankful I had something that was mostly clear; ALSO thankful my foot blister issue resolved.

Really sorry to hear about the deaths of Wayne Rogers and Natalie Cole. MASH was one of my fave shows and Wayne was a big part of the first (and best, IMO) cast. Natalie continued her parent's beautiful musical legacy. She not only had the vocal talent, but she knew how to develop and deliver it stunningly.

Song of the day: "Someone That I Used to Love", my favorite song from Natalie Cole.

Easy run with Alex. She had to do a timed mile for school and I wanted to test my hip strain. A bit sore after. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Also ran with Teddy for the first time. Think my arms got more work trying to keep him from crossing my path. Last thing I need is a spill. Still, nice to get out there.

Bryan, his bro (Kevin), Greg, Matt and Me for some sweet trail running this morning. Not sure who shows up to a trail run in the dark with no headlamp, but I'm here to tell you, it's doable. I just stuck close to our fearless leader (Bryan), and all was well. I love running trails so much. Kinda disappointing that no one threw down any burpees, but there's always a next time.

Absolutely beautiful sunrise, or as Bryan likes to call it, sunset, made for a perfect endiing.

Highest mileage week for me ever. Thanks to my homies for helping me get there. :)

Happy Saturday.
