First three miles with my cross country kids, our first week of summer conditioning. I am all smiles this morning, WE HAVE A FULL GIRL'S TEAM THIS YEAR! We're a small class D2 school and this hasn't happened since the 90s. I'm so excited for what's in store for our kids this season. Only three boys, so hopefully they can recruit one more. I ran most of the three with a sophomore girl who hasn't ever ran cross country before. I'll be her encouragement partner throughour this summer, she rocked it this morning and didn't complain once. Super proud of her.

Woke up early this morning when the storm rolled through. Didn't hit our house hard though.

Met with Betsy, Theresa, and Dave at Peak. Ended up with a super 8 with double memorial loop and skatepark extension. The trail was trying to take us down this morning. Betsy had a fall and I nearly went down later. Water main break near Elmwood was making for some interesting road running.
