I ran while The Girl biked; she slowed a couple of times. I walked with her during those breaks; in this heat, she did awesome. She drank too much water @ a water stop, and her tummy hurt for a bit. Felt bad for her.

Wanted to go a little further so made the 25 min. trip to Malvern to run on the Wabash. Should have got started a little earlier. It was 64 when I started and 77 when finished and starting to get warm. Struggled a little bit over the end but didn't fall off too badly. Otherwise all the little naggers seemed to be under control. Only little naggers that weren't were the biting flies which were bothersome. Most miles around 8 flat.

Due to rain, our class was moved indoors and pushed back to 9 am. So I was able to get a run in. Only sprinkles going out but steady rain coming back. A few lightning flashes but nothing serious. Anyway I'm at the lowest point on the run so told myself I was safe.

One minute on, one minute off x 12 with my cross country kids. I was probably complaining in my head more than any verbal complaints I heard from them. Actually, I think the only small amount of whining I did hear was during our ab workout after. Introduced them to Spiderman reaches which they thought were easy till they got halfway through them, hahaha.

Half naked again. Another 7 miler in the books. That's 3 days in a row which is huge for me. And 25 seconds per mile faster pave than Monday which is huger!

went out at daylight to check a few osprey nests. Strong storms 3 days in a row. All was well this morning. Some other osprey nests, however, lost their chicks from hail.

Then came home and ran 3 and did some weights. More casualties of the storm. the top of a dead tree was on the ground. three dead baby birds, probably woodpeckers. Nature is tough. :(

But I also saw a loon, a kingfisher, 2 egrets in a tree and blue herons. :)
