Not a great day for running but I had a Great run! Felt like I was flying across the Dam with the help of the wind.

Had a bit of snow for the first couple miles then it cleared. Last couple it started spitting rain which turned into sleet for the last third of a mile. Heart rate was high (160-170) for the first mile then it dropped into the 130 range.

Good morning! I have to tell you that the trip to Nebraska was a neat experience. Betsy is such a gracious host, Jen was so kind to drive to Omaha Saturday morning to run and go to coffee. It was nice to meet Theresa. Gary and Carl tried to get me to wear a black shirt. :)) Some thoughts:

Saturday morning I ran on my own while the others ran 7. Guess who I ran into? The runner with the white shirt who never says good morning. He didn't answer me either. :)

Husker fans are very spirited. :)))
Football at Memorial Stadium is a fabulous experience.
Omaha is hilly.
There are a lot of trucks on Iowa interstates.
Fredrickson street does not have a stop and go light. ;))
I was sad driving away.
Jack and Charlie survived.
How can it be Monday already?
