Happy with race at today's USATF 15K champs. Did some Real Racing...decided to go with people who came along side instead of just letting them go. They (including lead woman) pulled me to some good intermediate miles. Lots of up and down and esp. tough over the last 2K. Only a couple seconds off last year which was surprising. 25th age graded male and top LRC age-graded. 6:03/6:25/6:08/6:14/6:28/6:08/6:11/6:25/6:34/2:14 (@6:34). Splits indicative of up and down nature of course. 50-59 team was 3rd. Men's and women's 40-49 teams both won. Good day for LRC. Fun to make the trip with them. Age grades to 49:52. Lifetime best 50:08 in 1985.
