Miles 1 -3 were 1/4-mile increases in "base" speed, w/ the last .1 being harder. Mile 4 was 1/10th on/off intervals, on intervals getting faster. Mile 5 was a hodge podge potpourri melange of cool down nonsense.

Blue Moon Sweat Champion.

On my way out, I waw a fella what used to log under the name LacticAcid / LoneWoof (right?) / BigSu there too.

Happy Toosdee!

Thought I hit start and then pulled my jackets built in fist mitts over my gloves. Unfortunately I didn't hit start but got suspicious when there wasn't a buzz at 1 mile. Cold but no wind. One other runner out. I was planning on slightly warmer temps but took the opportunity to get out earlier.

With 10 x (1 minute fast/1 minute jog) in the middle of the run.

Song of the day: "Teach Your Children" by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. So THRILLED that I will be seeing Graham Nash in Osceola, IA in March!! He was the writer of "Teach Your Children", although I love all of the individual songs and talents of Crosby, Stills, Nash and (sometimes) Young. Saw CSN at Omaha's Orpheum in '96 for a fabulous show.
  • Dan Dan Clarifying: I used the word "sometimes" above before Young only to signify that he sometimes joins CSN, and NOT that I only appreciate his talents sometimes.

Might head out and photog the Full Wolf Moon 5k this weekend? My photogin' finger gets itchy, and like to keep the skillz sharp.

I'd actually love to do some head shots with wintry snowy backdrops too, but not many folks probably would agree! :) #dork

This shot doesn't compare to what I have in my office at work, but appreciate this one because I took it from aboard the Alaska Marine Ferry as we arrived in Haines.
