Super Blue Blood Moon run w/ BetzE and CoachGoz; didn't get to see the orange / blood moon, but, the full moon was SOOOOOOOO bright: our shadows were very noticeable the Big Papio.

Hi y'all! Just wanted to mention that I updated my race recap from Sunday. I am thankful that I am feeling well physically and am excited to begin training for Boston soon.

A few other notes on my Florida trip. Following the race, I showered and checked out of my hotel ASAP, so I could make the 2.5 hour drive to Tequesta (near Jupiter...Florida, not the planet), to attend a wonderful performance by Verlon Thompson. Verlon is a lauded singer-songwriter-multi instrumentalist in his own right. He was also the dear friend and musical partner of the late Guy Clark. I was enthralled by Verlon's show and stunned by his complete emotional command of his voice and guitar. I was honored to visit with him during the intermission. I gave him an 8 x 10 photo of him performing with Guy Clark from a show I saw them do at Poor Davids Pub in Dallas from 2002. He appeared genuinely thankful. I also told him I was sorry about his personal loss. After the show, I did another drive--1.5 hours to absolutely one of my favorite cities, Miami! Had a sensational time in Miami on Monday before flying back that evening.
