I finally posted my Boston Marathon recap on Monday's page if you are interested. It wasn't my worst finishing time (just 2nd worst), but absolutely and truthfully it was one of my most satisfying finishes.

Song of the day: "The Sun Hasn't Set On This Boy Yet" by Nils Lofgren. I picked Nils' "Believe" for Monday's song...in concert he usually does these 2 piano based songs together--"Believe" slow and thoughtful with Nils' piano skills to perfection in the solo, and then "Sun Hasn't Set..." more uptempo and a ringing positive validation of his entire career.

Nice morning, one barking dog. Today will be day 3 of 3 for track meets this week. Worked the JH and HS meets in Arapahoe as Clerk of the Start, probably only the 3rd time or so that I’ve worked that position. My goal was to have everyone lined up in the correct position and ready to go on time. Got that done. Only hiccup was the boys 400, lined up the first heat wit 3 runners, had 4 run the race. A runner from heat 3 decided to run heat 1, at least he was in the correct lane. :) Working as an umpire at Lexington today, ready for some better weather.
