One of our runners was in a car accident with three other high schoolers this weekend. She had already been struggling with knee pain all season and she finally ran her first meet on Thursday. And of course the majority of her injuries from the accident had to be her knees. Got her taped up and ready to do a walk/run workout and when she had reached 1.75, she told me she wanted 2 and asked to do more. I'm amazed by her grit and determination. She's one of a kind.
