Had to elliptical again today. This really annoying guy who is always there was talking to people on the machines...harassing women, actually. Well he chose unwisely. I told him to beat it. Go workout already. He has a habit of doing this, and I had no patience.

How at work.

Have a great Humpday.

freejack Beware of the wrath of Linny! Good job!

Omaha [20181118]: Air Force Ones

Crashed the zCrew; went off campus w/ them. Interesting route, that I'd NEVER be able to duplicate on my own.

There was a deer, in the middle of the street!!

Supposed to be kinda nice today; more later?

getfuzzy oh I hope the deer got back to where it is safe. :(
- posted at 01:43:00 EDT

carljsamuelson ^ it ran off, into the surrounding brush / woodsy area ('hood near Zorinsky; felt like a common occurrence) as we approached it

Linny Love seeing deer on runs.

getfuzzy excellent! do you have any snow on the ground?

- posted at 01:46:00 EDT

freejack ^^Yes, lots of snow and ice, we had a late start for school last Friday with some schools cancelling. Too soon for that it seems! I've been sticking to the mill and fighting with the others in the weight room over the thermostat, they want it HOT.

freejack @CJS, didn't you say the other day that you wipe off more than just your machine when you're done because of all your body fluids? lol

Took a peek at the Gumpin' this morning. Crazy how craZy folks used to be....I remember when JHook and Swain were both out on New Years Eve sneakin' miles to win the Gumpin' "In December". LOL

C'mon now, how could one argue with that view below everyday...#Haines

Song of the day: "Real World" by Matchbox 20. And an aside...the 90's seem way more distant and weird to me than the 80's or 70's ever were. I only lived 3 years in the 60's, so I don't recall too much of that ;)

getfuzzy tru dat. :)
- posted at 12:56:00 EDT

carljsamuelson If you had to break the 90's down into TWO musical genres, excluding Grunge, what would they be, Dan?
- posted at 01:48:00 EDT

freejack I love 90s music.
- posted at 03:03:00 EDT

Dan Carl: tough because I think grunge was omnipresent in 90s popular music. Other than that, I'd say boy bands/girl bands and the failure of classic rock to make a comeback.
- posted at 04:22:00 EDT

Dan Great joke on SNL: upcoming Spice Girls reunion tour to be called Old Spice!
- posted at 04:23:00 EDT

Dan Although I don't like grunge, for me the redeeming factor was it effectively killed off 80s hair metal/candy metal.
- posted at 04:24:00 EDT

Dan Neil Young gets called "the Godfather of grunge", and I call BS on that. Yeah, he has some of that...BUT that is along with folk, country, and experiments in computer grooves, rockabilly and more.
