Slept in then headed to the office to clean the walks and do a few maintenance chores. Got up yesterday morning to go out but listening to the wind and knowing I would be driving in it and sitting in the cold for several hours decided to sleep a bit more. I think I was thawed out by the time I got home last night. Slow drive but better than being in the ditch like the dozen or so vehicles that I saw.

Remembering my father, Don Fucinaro, who died 10 years ago tomorrow. My mother, brothers and sisters have thought about him with love everyday since. Photo is my dad in his Marine days...he served from 1953-1956, active duty; 1956-1961 reserve duty.

Song of the day: "Immigrant Eyes" by Guy Clark. My dad loved this song as it painted the picture of his parents coming to America from Italy and the work ethic they passed down to him.
  • BetzE BetzE Dan, thinking of you and your family. What a great photo to have to remember him by.
