I severely underestimate the power of trails and their hills! And I realized last night that I had packed the wrong shoes, boo. Gorgeous day to be out though, and Jay and the kids seemed to enjoy their 10k and cheered me into the finish.

2nd place for the 2nd year in a row. Lost to a high school XC runner instead of a college XC runner. I did run over a minute faster than last year. My slowest mile this year was my fastest mile last year. Ended up with another ham. The ham from last year is getting cooked today. I suppose this new one will sit around for a while as well. Now I'm ready for turkey.
  • getfuzzy getfuzzy Nice work! Fun post. The ham cracks me up! But hey now you have next years supper all taken care of!!! :)
