Omaha [20190104]: Lawnmowers & Leafblowers

Nebraska in January; and, I saw multiple yard crews working, and even one dude mowing his lawn.

Sick the last couple of days; felt good enough to run today.

Kept it short.

Sorry to learn about the death of Pegi Young, singer, musician and hero to children. In 1986, Pegi and then-husband Neil Young started the Bridge School in California, with the goal of helping children with speech and handicap challenges. Their own son Ben has cerebral palsy and they sought to help not only him but others. Pegi touched countless young lives.

Song of the day: "The Heart of the Matter" by Pegi Young...beautiful version of the Don Henley song.
